Sonic And The Secret Rings
In Sonic and the secret rings the story is a bit different than usual. Erazor Djinn has been erasing pages from a story book. Sonic jumps in to put a stop to this.
This game is out for the PS3, Xbox 360, and the Wii. The Wii version is the better version in this case, because you get to use the Wii remote to control Sonic the Hedgehog. Many familiar faces make their appearance, but they play a different role than you are used to.
The graphics are really beautiful in this sonic game. The stages each have their own look and feel, as it should be with each game. You will notice that the graphical designers did a great job in designing the different stages.
My favorite is the jungle stage called dinosaur land. There are actual breathing and living dinosaurs in the game and you will run on their backs to move forward. Cool stuff!
So you get to enjoy pretty scenery while dashing through the levels and taking down enemies, using your familiar moves. The game starts out slow, but it picks up before you know it.
A cool feature implemented is that you can buy skills for Sonic to make him better. Some of the skills make stronger, run faster, etc.
You can replay the levels you finished and you will have different options to finish it: collect the coins, defeat the enemies, etc.
Some of the drawbacks to this addictive game are the bad camera and the loose controls of Sonic, which will have you making all kind of stupid mistakes. For a game where speed is one of it focuses, the controls need to be tight.
Overall Sonic and the secret rings is a must play for all the sonic fans out there, who are looking for some fun.
